If nature is referred to as the great outdoors, then I refer to life as the great adventure. A journey with twists and turns - like a river. One that will have many ups and downs - like a mountain. A road trip with a known start and an unknown destination - just like a new path in a forest. I want to document this journey of yours, just as I would capture a beautiful sunset over a ravine.

The Process
01.
Fill out the form
Whenever you’re ready, just fill out the contact form. I’ll get back to you too as soon as possible so we can iron out the details of your session!

Connect
Once I receive your contact form, I will email you with follow up information. We will chat about your vision, packages, and I will get you on my schedule.
03.
The day of
On the day of the shoot, we’ll meet up at the location of the session. We’ll talk for a bit while I set up my camera and make sure everything’s perfect. Then we can jump straight into it and get some amazing photos!
04.
Gallery delivery
After your session, It will take me a few days up to a week to send a proofing gallery. This is a unedited gallery where you can select your favorite photos. Once you select your images, I can get to work on editing! You will receive your edited gallery within 1-4 weeks turnaround time.
This is my first photoshoot and I’m kind of nervous.
Most people feel a little nervous before their first session! My job is to make you feel completely comfortable and guide you through every step. You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do — I’ll help with that so we can capture natural, genuine moments that feel like you. Once we get started, it’ll feel much easier (and even fun!).
What should I wear?
It depends on the photoshoot you are going for.
I have a Pinterest board full of outfit ideas and colors that I will share with you once you have a session booked with me!
I tell my clients to wear clothing that are comfortable but also slightly formal. Think classic wear. Your basics with an elevated look.
Sometimes really bold colors, large logos on clothing can be considered loud with too much contrast. However, clothing is all about self expression, and it is up to you how you would like to dress! You are the main event, so still stick to your style!
Also, think about the time of year, and the location. As the locations here in Cordova are mostly forests, and by the water, the clothing theme can be more outdoorsy, flannels and jeans. Or even whimsical, flowy dresses and blouses.
In my personal opinion, whites, neutrals, and beiges are always a great go-to. Also, pastel colors look stunning!
How many pictures will I receive?
This will depend on the package you choose to invest in. If you choose a package with a number and "+" symbol, this means I will send at least that number, but usually as many as I have! This is the benefit of investing in my higher priced packages.
Are you available outside of Cordova?
In the future, I plan to broaden my horizons, extending my services to the Anchorage area and nearby locations. This all depends on interest!
Currently, I am not offering my services outside of Alaska. But this is something I would love to do later in my photography career.
